At Site Safety, LLC we take great pride in our consistent ability to provide professional, courteous, and honest service to all of our clients no matter how large or small a construction project. Our approach is to ensure that contractual requirements are met with the utmost integrity, diligence, and objectivity. Our reputation stems from our ability to meet our clients’ needs while providing a service that is consistent with our ethical standards and in accordance with the laws and regulations of the construction industry.
It is our goal to provide the construction industry with the best possible protection for worker and public safety alike. We approach a construction site with an unbiased and objective view, while remaining focused on our priority of ensuring a safe work environment. We strive to perform our functions with the utmost respect and professionalism, with the intention of establishing good working relationships, and cooperation with all of those present at a given job-site.
Peter Amato, President
Peter Amato is the President and Managing Director of Site Safety, LLC. With over 25 years of experience in construction safety, his experience includes providing safety management for hundreds of Major Buildings in New York City (NYC), and communicates with the Department of Buildings, Fire Department, Department of Transportation, Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Labor. Mr. Amato holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration, serves as adjunct professor at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, and is a NYC Certified Site Safety Manager. In addition, Mr. Amato was awarded the prestigious Safety Professional of the Year Award by the NYC Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) in 2013. Mr. Amato is also a past President of the NYC Chapter of the ASSE, member of the society's public relations committee, and former Assistant Commissioner at the NYC Department of Buildings where he was in charge of supervising all construction accident investigations. In his capacity as a Construction Safety Engineer, Mr. Amato testifies as an expert witness and has appeared on Channel 2 News (Hurricane Sandy), Fox 5 News (Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire), and has been interviewed and quoted by the NY Daily News, Reuters, Moving America Forward, Today In America, and The History Channel.
Andrey Vishev,Vice President
Andrey Vishev is a Safety Professional with over 20 years of construction safety experience in both the public and private sectors. Prior to working at Site Safety, LLC, Mr. Vishev was the Chief Inspector of the New York City Department of Buildings' Building Enforcement Safety Team (B.E.S.T Squad). In this position, he was responsible for overseeing hundreds of site-safety projects, demolition inspections, and residential sweeps in all five boroughs. Mr. Vishev also worked as a project manager for Long & Delosa Construction Corp., where he supervised construction projects ranging from hospital emergency suites and medical centers to restaurants and multi-dwelling buildings. Mr. Vishev’s experience also includes pre-cast construction and HVAC technology. Being a member of Site Safety, LLC, Mr. Vishev was selected to serve as a committee member for the 2014 New York City Building Code. He has also lectured at New York University and Columbia University.
Sandeep Gunnala, Assistant Vice President
Sandeep graduated from NYU Poly with a Masters in Construction Management following his Bachelors in Civil Engineering. He has supervised over thousands of Major Building projects with the company, excelled at resolving a myriad of challenges and continues to provide flawless expertise to 100's of our clients. Sandeep is very active in developing new business and managing complex projects for Site Safety, LLC. Sandeep manages Site Safety, LLC’s team of experts in the fields of Engineering, Expediting, Special Inspections and site safety programs for New Construction, Alterations and Demolition.
Russ Lacerenza, New York Director of Field Operations
Russ Lacerenza has been our “go-to” professional for the past 8 years. He has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Lacerenza currently holds a NYC DOB Site Safety Manager Certificate. He oversees all day-to-day east coast field staff operations by communicating with clients, inspectors, contractors, and all field staff. Russ consistently guarantees project coverage and meets deadlines for our clients every day. In order to ensure compliance with DOT, DOB, DEP, OSHA and FDNY, Russ never sleeps and puts the client’s interests first and foremost.
Kevin Sterling, West Coast Director of Field Operations
Kevin Sterling has been in construction safety management for over 12 years. His career began as a union carpenter prior to serving as a senior building inspector for the prestigious Building Enforcement Safety Team (B.E.S.T.) Squad of the New York City (NYC) Department of Buildings.
Kevin has been with Site Safety, LLC for over eight years and presently holds the position of Director of West Coast Field Operations where he manages all of the company’s Site Safety Managers.
Kevin is a designated Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST), is an OSHA instructor, and is a NYC Certified Site Safety Manager and Fire Safety Manager.
Maria Diaz, Director of Training
Director of Training and Development for Site Safety, LLC's "Training Institute of Site Safety" (TISS) with over nine years of experience in the Construction Safety Industry. Served as the Human Resources Manager and Training Coordinator for eighteen months before being promoted and making the transition to Director of Training and Development. Maria currently oversees TISS' operations and is responsible for the professional development of the organization’s workforce and general public. Maria attended The New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) where she majored in Business Administration and Marketing. She also obtained a Human Resources Certification through The Society for Human Resource Management at PACE University.
Margarita Valente, Director of Human Resources
Margarita Valente is the Director Human Resources at Site Safety, LLC. She is a recent graduate of Touro College for Business with a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management. She has a vast array of knowledge in the legal, health, and educational fields which assists with the every day tasks of helping personnel in any given situation.
