An After Hours Variance (AHV) is required if you are seeking to perform construction activity before 7:00 am, after 6:00 pm, or on a Saturday or Sunday. 

AHV applications for BIS jobs are submitted online through the Department's filing system. We can take care of these step for you!

AHV applications for DOB NOW jobs are submitted through the General Contractor's account. Site Safety can help you navigate through these steps!

AHV applications must be filed at least two (2) business days before the first intended work-day.

Applicants may request an AHV permit for any number of days within a window of 14 consecutive days. To request days beyond this window, a separate AHV application must be submitted.
