The Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification is designed for individuals who demonstrate competency and work part-time or full-time in health and safety activities devoted to the prevention of construction illnesses and injuries.

This course is geared towards the safety professional who is seeking the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). The BCSP determines that individuals who hold an ASP are persons who perform at least 50% of professional level safety duties.

This course is designed to prepare individuals with the skills necessary to pass the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) examination. The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) issues a certification to those individuals who pass this examination.
