IMPORTANT – Please be advised that on September 8, 2026, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office announced that Redcode, Inc. was indicted for the fraudulent issuance of Site Safety Training cards.

DOB is immediately invalidating all Site Safety Training (SST) certificates issued by Redcode Inc.

Affected workers will have a 90 day grace period, through December 7, 2026, to complete all required training to replace their certificates through a Department Registered Course Provider. During the 90 day grace period,  affected SST cards will remain active when scanned on a job site.

The Department is no longer accepting OSHA cards from instructor SM Lutfur Rahman, owner of Redcode Inc., for the purpose of meeting SST requirements. Workers must complete the required OSHA training through a current OSHA Training Provider.

SST cards issued by other course providers using Redcode certificates will remain active after December 7, 2026,  as long as the worker completes the required training during the 90 day grace period. If the worker does not update all required training in time, their SST card will be revoked.

Workers with Redcode certificates used to meet DOB worker certifications and licensing requirements must complete the required training by Monday, December 7, 2026 (last day of the grace period).

Workers with Redcode SST cards must obtain a new SST card from a DOB registered course provider by Monday, December 7, 2026 (end of grace period).
