OSHA National Emphasis Program (NEP) On-Site Inspections Effective March 12, 2021

OSHA is conducting inspections using a list of targeted establish-ments in certain industries.

Primary targeted industries are those with NAICS codes in general industry where OSHA data shows the highest amount of workers ex-pected to perform tasks associated with exposure to COVID-19. The NAICS codes include top healthcare industries with OSHA enforce-ment activities related to COVID-19 over the past year.

Secondary targeted industries with NAICS codes for non-healthcare essential workers who are likely to have the highest frequency of close contact exposure include Construction, Manufacturing, Warehouse and some Transportation Industries.
