Mr. Amato has over 25 years of experience providing safety consulting on thousands of Major Buildings in New York City (NYC). He is a Certified Site Safety Manager, Federal and Cal-OSHA instructor, and former assistant commissioner at the NYC Department of Buildings. He is a founding member of the Construction Safety Advisory Committee of New York, former NYC Chapter President of the American Society of Safety Professionals, a board member of the Bronx Museum, a committee member of the charitable organization Maya's Hope, and on the Advisory Panel of Pace University's Lubin School of Business Design Thinking Program.
In his capacity as a construction safety professional, Mr. Amato testifies as an expert witness and has appeared on Channel 2 News, Fox 5 News, CBS's Inside Edition, the History Channel, the Weather Channel, Today in America, Moving America Forward, and has been quoted by the NY Daily News, Reuters and Dr. Oz. He holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration, is an adjunct professor at New York University, and lectures at California State University.
