Life safety audit inspections identify hazards and non-compliant conditions that violate the standards of OSHA and local regulatory agencies. These inspections involve visual observations, photographs, and a written electronic report. Let us inspect your site to keep your employees hazard free and know that a safety professional has reviewed your project.

Fire guards (F-01, F-60, F-92) must be assigned at least one floor below hot work operations for fire exposures that are not viewable by one fire guard. They are required to walk job sites after hot work operations and in NYC, be present on construction projects from close of business until 7am. They are available at your request.

Your client may require you to provide oversight by a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) to make worksite assessments to determine risks. We employ CSP’s to assist you in assessing potential hazards, evaluating risks and preparing emergency response plans.

Don’t forget about this requirement. A Concrete Safety Manager (CSM) needs to be present during concrete operations in NYC that involve the placement of 2,000 cubic yards or more of concrete.

We have Construction Health and Safety Technician’s (CHST) available to fulfill your project needs. These individuals are construction safety professionals devoted to the prevention of construction injuries.

The S-56 Certificate of Fitness is mandatory whenever a Site Safety Manager or Site Safety Coordinator is required by the NYC Building Code. A safety meeting is the time to pinpoint minor hazards before they result in real problems. It also presents a good opportunity to discuss hazards that are inherent in the environment and that even the most experienced employees are likely to overlook. Let us guide your staff on holding a productive safety meeting.

Orientations provide employees with necessary safety information specific to their job site. They inform workers about workplace hazards, site conditions, acceptable conduct and equipment while also providing an opportunity to ask questions to clarify new information. We make these orientations simple and understandable.

Tenant Protection Plans require weekly inspections by a NYC DOB Special Inspection Agency. Site Safety is a registered Special Inspection Agency that can inspect your project for compliance with the law.
